Angel Cheeks Peony Roots
Large, rounded buds open to an explosion of tightly packed, soft-pink petals cradled by outer ‘guard’ petals of creamy ivory. Peony Angel Cheeks was awarded a Gold Medal by the American Peony Society in 2005. Its award-winning merits as Best Peony of the Year included sturdy stems to hold large flowers upright, flower size, fresh scent and longer vase life. After flowering, glossy green foliage remains throughout summer then turns purplish-red or gold in the fall.
Bloom time: Late Midseason

Note: Fall is the ideal time to plant peony roots (usually September–November). Peonies grow slowly and may take 2–3 years to bloom after planting bare roots. All bare roots will come with 3-5 eyes. Peony roots will be shipped in the fall.
