Top Brass Peony Roots
Fragrant, bomb double, large size flower opens blush pink, soon fading from blush to nearly white. Large guard petals form a saucer which holds in center a large ball tightly stuffed with long, narrow and cupped petal segments. The flower is rich in color with two bands of ivory pink petals separated by a belt of pale yellow petalodes; the latter repeats at center in the fully opened flower. Quite satisfying plant habit, vigorous and good grower. Reliable bloomer with ample color on a large, tall bush. Strong stems, may lean when in open flower and may benefit from mechanical support for best results. Furnishes fine stems for the vase and an excellent choice for a cut flower garden.
Bloom time: Late Midseason

Note: Fall is the ideal time to plant peony roots (usually September–November). Peonies grow slowly and may take 2–3 years to bloom after planting bare roots. All bare roots will come with 3-5 eyes. Peony roots will be shipped in the fall.
